Our team

Classic Displays started as a small operation in 1977 out of a garage in Mississauga, Ontario and has since grown to become one of the country’s leaders in Christmas Displays. Started when Wayne Tucker began producing Christmas/Holiday decorations with his father as a part time job, Classic Displays quickly grew as it earned the reputation as an up and coming business in the outdoor enhancement field.

Due to Classic Displays’ growing success in the Christmas market, in 1985 it was time to grow the company into a more year round business. A flag and banner division was added allowing Classic Displays to continue to service their existing clients in the summer months, strengthen those relationships as well as creating new ones.

With a constant commitment to customer service, Classic Displays wanted to continue to grow and be able to offer more to its existing clientele. That’s why in 1990 Classic Displays’ added a site furnishing division. Initially manufacturing site furnishings in steel and wood, Classic Displays began using recycled plastic lumber and as a result has become the Canadian leader in the manufacturing and sales of maintenance free site furniture manufactured from recycled plastic lumber.

Classic Displays takes deep pride in their work which can be seen not only across Ontario but the country. From the streets of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia to Toronto’s Royal York Hotel and Ottawa’s Byward Market, Classic Displays’ Christmas Displays have the power to evoke the Christmas Spirit in anyone and Classic Displays’ site furniture can be found beautifying even more places year round.

Now including Wayne’s sons Adam and Chris, Classic Displays continues to grow and produce quality products the customer can depend on. Not bad for a company that got its start in a garage over 30 years ago.


Wayne Tucker Wayne Tucker
Owner

Wayne Tucker established this family owned and operated company in 1977. He incorporated the help of his father in building the first Christmas Displays in his garage during off duty time as a professional firefighter. As the company started to evolve into a steady enterprise he had to make a career changing decision, and in 1988 left the security and excitement that comes with being a firefighter for a new career in the business world where he would be the master of his own destiny.

His new career and success with Classic Displays was predicated in the belief that if "you take care of your customer they will take care of you" with a good and secure living.

Good work resulted in more work being asked for by his loyal customers. Wayne saw the needs of his customers in other areas and moved the company into producing flags and banners and site furniture to fulfill that need. He proudly notes that the company is a leader in producing environmentally friendly products from post consumer and post industrial plastic waste. Today Classic Displays has three divisions producing enhancement products for Towns, Cities and Shopping Centres across North America. What started out as a son and father enterprise of two now numbers upwards of 50 during the very busy Christmas Season.

For Wayne his greatest moments of pride are simple, it’s being able to listen to his sons Adam and Chris, who after obtaining their university degrees wanted to work in the family business, making sales in their offices and knowing that they have become a huge part in the success of a company that is today. Knowing that they also share in the belief of taking care of the customer will insure their future and there fathers legacy.




Chris Tucker Chris Tucker
Sales Manager

Chris started with Classic Displays on a part time basis at the at the age of 14 working in production, during the summer months, eventually moving into a full time position as an installer after graduation. Chris than made the switch to Sales Manager in 2005, he now oversees the sales staff, creates and implements marketing and promotions programs and in the winter months switches focus to overseeing the installation of Christmas décor.

Holding experience in multiple aspects of the business, especially his experience with installation, allows Chris to work closely with BIAs and other customers to design lighting programs that will work for any area. Chris takes pride in his ability to simply look at an area and know which product should be placed where to achieve the most esthetically pleasing look and loves nothing more than seeing his vision for a BIA become a beautiful reality.

Not afraid to admit he has become a Christmas Décor snob, Chris will gladly tell you the dos and don’ts of decorating for the season with his biggest pet peeve being “phantom lights”. Chris holds an MBA from the University of Windsor with a focus in Marketing.






Adam Tucker Adam Tucker
General Manager

Adam started spending his summers at Classic Displays in 1998 working in production. From there he moved on to basic sales switching to full time once he completed school, eventually moving into management. Now working as the General Manager, Adam does a lot of everything, from overseeing production, to scheduling and ordering, he also continues to help out in sales.

His organizational skills as well as his critical and analytical thinking, allow him to anticipate the needs of the customer which has assisted in the overall advancement of the company and in doing so has increased customer satisfaction, which is something that Adam considers a great achievement.

Adam, who is married with two kids, is the green thumb of the company and enjoys spending his free time in his garden and running half marathons. Adam holds an Honours BA in Political Science and Globalization from McMaster University.






Stella Rezgo Stella Rezgo
Account Manager

Stella Rezgo joined Classic Displays in 2005 as a sales and marketing representative. She then became an Account Manager and in that role is constantly building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients. Holding a business management degree and experience in retail and private business, Stella understands the importance of putting the customer first, which is why she responds to every customer enquiry in a timely manner making her extremely reliable to not only the customer but the company as well.

Stella, who moved from Russia in 1996, takes pride in the contributions she has made to get Classic Displays where it is today and looks forward to continuing to maintain and contribute to the company’s growth.











Margaret Cook Margaret Cook
Office Administrator

Margaret joined Classic Displays in 2011 and quickly became the first line of defense in her role as office administrator. In her role, Margaret looks after accounts receivable and payable and performs reception duties. Margaret brings with her a number of years of experience in similar roles giving her a general overview of how a business should operate. That, paired with her willingness to assist in any project, makes her a valuable team player and asset to the company.

















Meaghan Ketcheson Meaghan Ketcheson
Social Media Coordinator, Marketing and Sales

Meaghan joined Classic Displays in March of 2013. The social media junkie, brings with her a variety of experience received during her time at a Marketing and Communications firm in Toronto and a fresh perspective on marketing using social media. Meaghan’s work experience paired with her educational background allows her to work on all aspects of a marketing campaign including the design of marketing materials and advertisements making her a welcome addition to the Classic Displays’ team.
